August 10, 2026, Can Tho, Vietnam — At the invitation of the customer, the HERTZINNO team, together with our local partner Vietnam Laser Alignment Co., Ltd. (VLA), visited LEE & MAN Vietnam to conduct an on-site demonstration and technical exchange featuring the HA3T Acoustic Imaging Camera.
LEE & MAN’s Vietnam production facility is a large-scale industrial site with extensive production equipment. Fans, motors, pumps, conveying systems, and other machinery operate continuously across the plant, creating a complex acoustic environment. This made the site an ideal real-world setting for evaluating the HA3T’s sound source localization capability, detection sensitivity, and performance under varying background noise conditions.
Unlike a controlled laboratory demonstration, the HA3T was tested directly in active production areas of the paper mill.
During the demonstration, the HERTZINNO team carried out a series of acoustic inspections in different plant areas and under different background noise levels, highlighting the HA3T’s sound source localization accuracy, detection sensitivity, and acoustic imaging performance in complex industrial environments.
Even in areas with multiple machines operating simultaneously, the HA3T was able to visualize the location and distribution of sound sources in real time, helping engineers quickly identify and locate acoustic anomalies within a complicated equipment environment.
Compared with conventional inspection methods that rely heavily on human hearing and point-by-point troubleshooting, acoustic imaging makes previously invisible sound sources clearly visible.
This enables maintenance teams to locate potential problems more efficiently and provides an intuitive tool for applications including compressed-air and gas leak detection, abnormal noise localization, equipment inspection, and predictive maintenance.
Electrical Cabinet Thermal Inspection – Detecting Hidden Hot Spots
In the electrical room, the HA3T’s thermal imaging function was used to inspect multiple live distribution cabinets. The 640×512 infrared sensor, combined with ≤40 mK thermal sensitivity, produced a clear temperature distribution map of all connection points, busbars, and circuit breakers. Inspectors quickly identified one terminal block with an abnormal temperature rise – significantly hotter than surrounding areas – indicating possible increased contact resistance or a loose bolt.
This finding validated the HA3T’s practical value for predictive electrical maintenance, enabling the plant to address a developing fault before it could cause an unplanned outage.
In addition to its acoustic imaging capabilities, the demonstration also highlighted the integrated infrared thermal imaging function of the HA3T.
For electrical distribution and substation inspection, the HA3T provides high-definition infrared thermal imaging to visualize temperature distribution across electrical equipment.
This allows engineers to identify abnormal temperature patterns that may indicate potential problems in electrical connections, switchgear, distribution equipment, or other electrical components.
By combining acoustic imaging and infrared thermal imaging in a single portable platform, the HA3T enables inspection teams to cover multiple diagnostic scenarios without carrying separate instruments.

With one device, users can:
This integrated approach is particularly valuable for industries such as paper and pulp, power generation and distribution, chemicals, steel, cement, and other large industrial facilities where inspection areas are extensive and equipment operating conditions are complex.

The on-site demonstration received high recognition from the LEE & MAN team.
Throughout the tests, the customer was particularly impressed by the HA3T’s performance in the challenging acoustic conditions of an operating paper mill. Its detection sensitivity, clear acoustic visualization, and stable sound source localization performance under different background noise levels exceeded the customer’s expectations.
The performance of the HA3T gave the customer strong confidence in its ability to address real inspection challenges across the plant. In particular, the combination of acoustic imaging and infrared thermal imaging was considered highly relevant to their daily inspection and maintenance requirements.
According to the customer’s feedback, the HA3T demonstrated capabilities that went beyond their initial expectations and showed strong potential for applications including equipment condition inspection, abnormal sound localization, leak detection, and electrical thermal inspection.
Following the successful demonstration and technical discussions, both sides expressed a clear intention to explore further cooperation and potential deployment of HERTZINNO solutions at the facility.
For HERTZINNO, this positive feedback is also an important validation of the HA3T in a demanding, real-world industrial environment.
Together with our local partner Vietnam Laser Alignment Co., Ltd. (VLA), HERTZINNO will continue to work closely with LEE & MAN to explore suitable applications and provide localized technical support.
The successful demonstration further strengthens our confidence that advanced acoustic imaging technology can deliver significant value to industrial users by making inspections faster, more intuitive, and more efficient.
